CHW Advocacy: Build Your Skills & Promote the CHW Profession

In January, CHWsNH collaborated with Southern NH AHEC and Kristine Stoddard from BiState Primary Care Association to present an advocacy training to empower CHWs and allies with the skills to drive policy change. Participants learned effective techniques for educating policymakers on the CHW profession and its proven benefits. The training covered strategies for influencing legislators, navigating the policymaking process, building advocacy coalitions, and crafting compelling messages.
