Nancy Collins has dedicated over a decade of her career to improving healthcare and making a positive impact on people’s lives. As the Supervisor of Service Coordination for NH Healthy Families, she oversees a team that connects members to critical community resources.

Nancy first joined Centene Corporation in 2013 for the launch of Managed Care in New Hampshire. She worked directly with members as a Community Health Worker (CHW) until taking on her current supervisory role in 2022. Although no longer working one-on-one with members, Nancy realized she could still create change by supporting those on the frontlines.

Through her involvement with the NH CHW Coalition, Nancy has advocated for the CHW workforce and development of a state certification process. She served as the inaugural holder of the Southern NH Chair position for the past 6 years and Co-Chair of the Certification Sub-Committee. The NH CHW Coalition recognizes the special place Nancy holds in the creation of the coalition and although she has completed her service, we look forward to her continued impact within the CHW workforce.

Nancy reflects, “It has been amazing to see and be a part of how we as CHW’s have made our way to the table and tot the front of healthcare.”

Outside of work, Nancy cherishes time with her four children. She also recently celebrated five years as a cancer survivor. Spending time outside, travelling, and meeting new people number among her favorite hobbies.

Nancy Collins has dedicated herself to the wellbeing of vulnerable community members. Through her career and volunteer work, she empowers CHWs to better serve their community. Nancy’s care and compassion shine as a model for making a difference.
