The NH CHW Coalition is thrilled to welcome Yosita Thanjai into her new role as Southern Co-Chair on the Steering Committee! Yosita brings a wealth of valuable experience and contagious passion to this position.

As the Community Health Worker for the Seacoast Public Health Network, Yosita works diligently to address health disparities across 23 towns in Eastern Rockingham County. Rather than one-on-one visits, she conducts outreach at food pantries, libraries, senior centers, and other local organizations – building connections and linking people to resources. Yosita loves the creativity and variety this community-based work allows.

In her new role with the Coalition, Yosita is eager to raise awareness of the CHW profession statewide and promote growth through outreach, especially to young adults and jobseekers. She feels honored to serve on the Steering Committee and looks forward to contributing her skills, perspectives, and enthusiasm.

Fun fact: Yosita never cuts her hair on Wednesdays! This is a superstition that she has always had.
