CHWsLearn: Seizure First Aid Training

On Wednesday, October 18th 2023, Community Health Workers participated in a Seizure First Aid Training led by the Epilepsy Foundation New England. During the informative training, they learned about the most common seizure types and what to do when someone is having a seizure. Seizure First Aid covered how to keep the person safe, time the seizure, provide comfort when the seizure ends, and identify when emergency care is needed. Our CHWs are now better equipped to respond with care when supporting individuals who experience a seizure and/or living with Epilepsy.
